William Ward

Minnesota Board of Public Defense
William Ward is the State Public Defender for the Minnesota Board of Public Defense, overseeing an agency of nearly 900 staff. He is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Ward graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Political Science in 1983. He then received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 1986. His work focuses on criminal defense, a specialty in which he has over 40 years of experience.
