About: “APLA aims to provide a space/community for AAPI to discuss unique issues and stigmas facing AAPI in the law, and/or AAPI/Law. APLA also supports AAPI throughout the law school application process and/or pursuing a career in law/politics through resources and workshops, particularly Asian-Interest Law. Finally, APLA addresses factors contributing to the lack of AAPI in law and policy-related professions.”
About: “We are a pre-law organization that fosters professional and academic growth for our members, competes at a high level within the collegiate mock trial circuit, and supports the development of our member’s trial advocacy skills.”
About: “The primary goals of the UGLR are to foster discussion and engage students in informed, civil, and meaningful discussions on important legal issues. UGLR also promotes awareness and highlights pressing legal issues through an accessible, objective, and informative law & policy journal. Finally, UGLR provides experience and offers undergraduates the opportunity to gain experience in legal research and writing law & policy articles.”
About: “The primary goals of the Illinois Undergraduate Moot Court Team are: 1) to provide undergraduates the opportunity to learn about and engage in appellate advocacy; 2) to teach undergraduates how to create and present convincing, coherent, and organized written and oral arguments, and 3) to allow undergraduates to explore their interests in varied topics within constitutional law.”
About: “Kappa Alpha Pi is a co-ed professional pre-law fraternity. The three main goals of our organization are: Professionalism – preparing members for law school and the legal profession through ample networking opportunities with law schools and legal professionals and professional development workshops and LSAT preparation; Service – volunteering within the community, hosting multiple fundraisers per semester and donating funds to local non-profit organizations; and Brotherhood – building a strong community of like-minded individuals, a tight-knit
community of pre-law students on campus, spending time with each other outside of KAP events, and forming meaningful friendships.”

About: “Founded to assist, support, and advance pre-law students on their journey to law school and becoming successful attorneys. MAFA provides resources for minority students including but not limited to; scholarship opportunities, mentorship, LSAT preparation, and information regarding Graduate Education. MAFA creates a safe space for minority pre-law students to network and meet potential colleagues and works to positively influence minority matriculation to Law School to create more spaces for minorities in law.”
About: “Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International is the largest professional law fraternity in the United States. Founded in 1902, P.A.D. has since grown to 717 established pre-law, law, and alumni chapters and over 330,000 initiated members. The primary goals are: to provide exposure and resources to undergraduate students interested in studying law; to help grow important professional and networking skills while being in a community of your peers; and to foster connection and philanthropy in the U-C community.”

About: The Pre-Law Honors Society creates a productive and friendly environment for students who are interested in the study of law, and provides them with various resources regarding the law school application process. We also provide additional pre-professional development resources to our members to help them grow
professionally, including writing workshops, resume reviews, and more. Finally, PLHS creates an environment where peers can help and support each other in their pre-professional journey through the use of a peer-to-peer mentorship program, and subcommittees.”
