What is the SITLess Study?

Have you ever wondered how prolonged sitting time can affect how you think?

The SITLess Study is a research project into the relationship between breaking prolonged sitting with physical activity and how adults think. We aim to study the effects of interrupting prolonged sitting with brief physical activity bouts on blood glucose metabolism (blood sugar), and cognitive and brain function in adults.

  • We are looking for adults between the ages of 21-55 years with high weight for height to participate in our project.
