The FAO donated a vehicle, motorbikes, and laptops to the Gambian Ministry of Agriculture to help implement the Technical Cooperation Programme, which seeks to promote and diffuse household metallic silos for grain seed storage. The goal of the Programme is to help reduce PHL and improve grain quality, as grain PHL in Gambia reaches up to 30%. In addition, over 129 artisans have been trained in all six regions of the country.
