European Commission Co-funds Agricultural Development Project in Mozambique

The European Commission is funding a project in Mozambique, giving 1.3 million euros to provide access to quality seeds, increase seed production, and reduce PHL. Mozambique farmers’ greatest obstacle is the lack of money to survive between harvests. An estimated 38,000 families will be affected by the project, which has set up 150 rural workers’ councils in order to help train them in PHL reduction and technologies.
