Hey everyone! My name is Amanda Holmes, and I am the President of OTS. I am from the small town of Dwight, Illinois. My interests are small animal neurology and behavior modification. With the little free time I get, I love going hiking with my dog and enjoying the great outdoors! Surina Birk – Vice President (c/o 2026)

Hi, I’m Surina and I’m the Vice President of Omega Tau Sigma. I am from the Chicago suburbs and went to Benedictine University for my undergrad where I studied Biology and Music. During my freshman year of high school, I realized I wanted to become a veterinarian and haven’t looked back since. I am interested in pursuing Zoo and Aquatic medicine and being able to help a variety of animals from around the world. I am involved in lots of organizations and clubs, such as, Aquatics Club and the Wildlife Medical Clinic. When not studying, I love to watch with my frogs and fishies, be outside, make music, and spend time with my friends and family. I am so thankful to be an Oatie and cannot wait to see the growth of OTS.

My favorite four legged camping buddies are my orange cat, Lloyd, and my Belgian Malinois, Ruger. I am involved in many clubs as of now, as my mixed animal career will require experience in many different areas. I love OTS for the community it provides.
