Mariana Duarte

Mariana Duarte is currently a Ph.D. Student at the Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering (NPRE) Department, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). She joined the Socio-Technical Risk Analysis (SoTeRiA) research group in January of 2022. She received her bachelor’s in Computer Science in 2021 at California State University, Monterey Bay. She had experience participating in various research projects from 2018-2021, including “Essential Workers in Austin, TX”; “Data Analysis on their Exposure to COVID-19”, “Colombia’s Future in Nuclear Power”, and “Using Machine Learning on Mobility Data to Inform Consumer Trends”.
