May, 2019: Our paper exploring the role of 27HC in ovarian cancer has been accepted for publication in Endocrine Related Cancer! This paper describes the paradoxical effects of 27HC on ovarian cancer cells compared to the tumor microenvironment. Great leadership by Sisi to pull this manuscript together.

March and April 2018: Our research will be featured heavily at the annual meetings for the Endocrine Society and American Association for Cancer Research (ENDO2018 and AACR2018). Sisi He, Hamed Shahoei and Dr. Nelson will be delivering oral presentations at ENDO2018. Amy Baek and Dr. Nelson will be delivering oral presentations at the AACR, and Sisi He and Liqian Ma will be presenting posters.
October 2017: Our research describing how cholesterol increases breast cancer metastasis has been published in Nature Communications.
June 2017: Dr. Nelson delivers State of the Art Lecture at the International Congress of Comparative Endocrinology.
January 2017: Congratulations to Sisi He who is the recipient of the Carle-Illinois C*STAR fellowship. We will be working with Carle practitioners to characterize the impact of cholesterol and its metabolites on ovarian cancer progression.
