Chapter Prize: Regional SEM meetings offer an excellent opportunity for students at all levels to present work in progress, gain valuable conference experience, and form and strengthen intellectual and social bonds. MIDSEM particularly encourages graduate and undergraduate students to submit abstracts, and the JaFran Jones Award is given annually to the best student paper.
