Illinois Leadership Center Fall Programs

The Illinois Leadership Center Fall Programs are currently available for Sign-Up!

i-Programs: All i-Programs run from approximately 10:00am to 4:00pm

Intersect, September 24th: learn skills in relationship-building and team development.

Petullo Insight, October 15th: discover your strengths, your values, and explore your intrinsic leadership styles.

Integrity, October 22nd: investigate your personal values and the intersection of morals, ethics, and integrity.

Innovation, November 5th: focus on skills related to innovation, creativity, and diversity as it applies to problem solving.

Leadership Certificate Informational Sessions

A multi semester program designed to help provide you customized leadership development combining classroom instruction and hands on experience. Learn more about the requirements here. To get started, sign up for a Certificate Informational Session; dates for these are listed below:

Fred S. Bailey Scholarship for Cause Driven Leaders

The Fred S. Bailey Scholarship is a program of the University YMCA that awards over $100,000 in financial aid to University of Illinois students who demonstrate a deep commitment to service and action.

Who should apply? All undergraduates students who will be enrolled at UIUC during the Fall 2016/Spring 2017 academic year are eligible to receive awards of $3000. Students graduating in 2016-17 will also be considered for the $5,000 Bailey Leadership Awards.


  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate the impact of their service, community involvement, leadership, and action.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate awareness and critical thought about the pressing issues facing the world today.
  • Financial need and academic achievement  will also be considered.

Graf Internship Information Session


If you are looking for a pre-professional work opportunity that allows you to plan, organize, and facilitate activities and programs while developing your leadership skills, consider applying for the Graf Internship at the Illinois Leadership Center. The Graf Internship is limited to four students per academic year. Graf interns are responsible for overseeing the logistics and administration of the Leadership Center’s I-programs, as well as the other office priorities such as marketing, yearly intern recruitment, outreach, and coordinating the Student Leadership Advisory Team (SLAT).

If you are interested, make sure to attend the upcoming information session which will be held on December 3 at 8:00 p.m. in the Illinois Leadership Center Conference Room located at 290 Illini Union.

All of the Illinois Leadership Center’s services are at no additional cost to students. These programs have attendance from students across campus so freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students are welcome!
