The UIC College of Nursing in Urbana has several events for prospective BSN and Graduate Entry Masters students.

The Graduate Entry Masters of Science program is a new program to Urbana this fall.  Dubbed the career changer, the GEMS program allows individuals with a non-nursing bachelor to obtain a Masters of Science in Nursing and test for nursing licensure after seven consecutive terms (2.5 years).  Any students interested in learning more about this degree are encouraged to attend the annual Graduate Open House on Tuesday, October 13 from 6-8pm.  Call 217-333-2507 to RSVP.  For additional GEMS program information, visit our webpage here: http://www.nursing.uic.edu/academics-admissions/graduate-entry-master-science-program#program-overview

Students interested in learning more about the BSN program, including prerequisite coursework and admissions requirements are highly encouraged to attend a BSN information session.  BSN applicants for the fall of 2016 are highly encouraged to attend a “How to Apply” session.  The location will be given when students RSVP to 217-333-2507.
