“Technology on demand: Implementing loanable technology services at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign” published in Library Hi Tech has been chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the 2012 Literati Network Awards for Excellence. The paper was one of the most impressive pieces of work the journal’s Editorial Team had seen throughout 2011. The paper’s authors include Susan Avery, Jim Hahn, Lori Mestre, and David Ward–all of the Undergraduate Library.
“Expanding the reference vocabularly: A methodology for applying Bloom’s taxonomy to increase instruction in the reference interview” by David Ward, reference services librarian, was chosen for the Reference Research Review: 2011. This annual bibliography highlights selected works in the reference literature.
