Bethany Anderson, an assistant professor, and Natural and Applied Sciences Archivist with the University Archives at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign was one of the two individuals named as the next Editors-In-Chief of Comma: International Journal on Archives by the International Council on Archives. The Editors-In-Chief of Comma are individuals responsible for managing Comma, a globally distributed multilingual archival journal.

Joseph Hall-Ingram, a library specialist at Grainger Engineering Library was one of the sixteen civil service employees awarded with the Chancellor’s Distinguished Staff Award (CDSA) by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The Chancellor’s Distinguished Staff Award recognizes exceptional performance and with COVID-19, had honored employees, like Hall-Ingram, who have helped manage issues regarding the pandemic.
