Undergraduate Admissions is recruiting students to serve as Illinois Student Admissions Representatives (I-STARs). All I-STARS will serve on student panels, provide tours of campus, and assist with on-campus recruiting events.
Students may apply now to begin training in December. Please note this position is unavailable to seniors graduating in 2013.
Ideal candidates would have experience with public speaking, strong oral communication skills, an ability to learn information quickly, are involved on campus, and enthusiastic about Illinois. Admissions is seeking candidates from diverse colleges, majors, ethnicity, areas of involvement, and geographic hometowns.
Students may also pick up an application at the front desk of the Admissions & Records Building, 901 W. Illinois St., Urbana, IL or they may request a copy by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
