Student Led Lessons
Class Structure
If you’re unsure about which class(es) to take, please chat with a member of the Executive Board or send us an email at illinidance@gmail.com. If you have previous dance experience and dance at a level higher than silver, please reach out to see what options are available for you!
Beginner
The Beginner class is for those with little to no previous dance experience or are just beginning the Bronze level. Student led lessons will be tailored to the participants and will focus on Newcomer/Bronze steps and techniques.
Lesson Time: Tuesday and Thursday’s from 7-8PM
Intermediate
This class is for more experienced dancers who are looking for more advice and technique pointers on Bronze/Silver figures. Student led lessons will be tailored to the participants and will focus on Bronze, Silver, or higher figures and techniques.
Lesson Time: Tuesday and Thursday’s from 8-9PM
Payment Methods
There is a one-time $25.00 general fee associated with participating in student led lessons.
Zelle, check, or cash are the preferred payment methods as there are no transaction fees. Please send Zelle payments to ‘Illini Dancesport Team’ or search on Zelle for the ‘illinidance@gmail.com’ email. Checks can be made out to ‘Illini Dancesport Team’ with the memo ‘Fall 2025 Registration Dues’. If paying via check or cash, please bring payment to the lesson and submit to a member of the Executive Board.
Venmo and Paypal are also acceptable methods of payment but you are responsible for paying the associated transaction fees. Please send payment to ‘@illinidance’ with the memo ‘Spring 2025 Class Registration’.

Refund Policy
We currently do not offer refunds unless there was an accounting error and accidentally overcharged for your lesson plan. To find the most affordable rates and payment plan based on your individual needs, please speak with our Treasurer, a member of the Executive Board, or email us.
