Away competitions

While you do not have to compete to be part of the Illini Dancesport community, part of our mission is to support those who wish to excel at competitive ballroom dancing. As such, as a team, we compete at approximately 4 competitions per semester. The exact dates of the competitions change from year to year but happen roughly around the same time. See below for the current calendar.

Competition Policies

To help make attending competitions financially feasible, the team covers some of the associated costs. See this document for the team’s official stance on: registration fees, gas reimbursement, lodging costs, and membership account balance due dates.
