Away competitions
While you do not have to compete to be part of the Illini Dancesport community, part of our mission is to support those who wish to excel at competitive ballroom dancing. As such, as a team, we compete at approximately 4 competitions per semester. The exact dates of the competitions change from year to year but happen roughly around the same time. See below for the current calendar.

- Illini Dancesport Invitational in Urbana, Illinois on October 11, 2025 (home comp!)
- Purdue Ballroom Classic in Lafayette, Indiana on November 15, 2025
- Ohio Star Ball in Columbus, Ohio on November 22-23, 2025

Competition Policies
