Biography
I grew up in Lombard, Il. After finishing high school, I attended University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I received my B.S. in Engineering Mechanics. Along the way, I had several international experiences through Engineers Without Borders. Because of the involvement I had during my undergraduate career, I decided to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at UIUC with prospects toward earning a Ph.D.
Current Projects
- Developing a second generation prototype of a 5-gear, automatic gear-shifting manual wheelchair
- Determining if geared manual wheelchairs reduce shoulder torque in manual wheelchair users
- Designing a pneumatic powered soft robotic upper limb orthotic device for children

Personal Interests
I enjoy running, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and most sports. Also, I am an amateur breakdancer.
