We would like to invite you to the GESO Guest Speaker this Thursday, February 21st at 7 pm in Newmark B218.
Jared Green, P.E, will be giving a presentation on “ACIP Pile In-Place Evaluation: Lessons Learned in Re-Starting a Stalled Project.” Mr. Green completed his graduate degree here at University of Illinois and worked as a student under Professor G. Mesri during that time. He is currently a senior project manager at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services. Mr. Green will also be at Langan’s booth at the CEE Career Fair the following day (Friday, February 22nd). Thursday’s presentation provides a wonderful opportunity for those seeking internships and full-time employment to interact with Mr. Green in a more casual setting, as well as to learn more about an interesting topic in geotechnical engineering and Langan.
