Alex’s new paper on effects of disorder and large effective magnetic fields on quantum transport has been published in Physical Review X. He and Eric found that adding extremely large effective magnetic fields to atoms in a disordered landscape could introduce a mobility edge (an energy-dependent transition from insulator to conductor), and that atomic interactions could even lead to one as well.

The research article can be found here, along with some local press.
