Prof. Larry Fahnestock recently received a 2014 Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize from ASCE.  This award recognizes his research contributions in the field of seismic behavior and design of steel wall and braced-frame systems, combining large-scale experimental testing with nonlinear analysis to develop practical guidance for implementation.
