Martin Neumann, PhD
Martin Neumann received his PhD from Illinois in Nuclear Engineering in 2007; he is a long-time Dean’s Club member. In his own words:
I’ve been fortunate for all the opportunities that I had with being educated in the College of Engineering. I would not be where I am today in large part due to my experiences within the College and many of those experiences came from previous generations giving back to the College through their time and resources. It is my responsibility to do the same for the next generation of students in the College. That’s what the Dean’s Club allows individuals to do and to be a part of a large group of loyal and committed supporters of the College and campus to further the mission being one of the best training and research institutions in the world.
About the Dean’s Club
Membership in the Dean's Club recognizes those making gifts of $1,000 or more annually to any Engineering at Illinois department or college fund. When you become a Dean's club member, you partner with a group of dedicated alumni and friends who contribute to the success of our students, faculty, and programs.
Generous gifts from Dean’s Club members position the college to provide the best possible environment for both teaching and learning. Whether your gift helps refurbish a laboratory, fund student scholarships, or attract and retain world-class faculty, it will be contributing to a bright future for Engineering at Illinois.
At all college events, Dean’s Club Members are recognized for their investment and partnership in our educational endeavors. A special lapel pin embodies your commitment and is a symbol of your pride in Engineering at Illinois
