What is the cost of the course?
The registration fee is $275. Credit card is the only acceptable form of payment. University account numbers (CFOP) cannot be used to register for the course.
What is the registration deadline?
Registration closes one week before the course start date. If you need assistance with registration, please email LeaAnn Carson (lcarson@illinois.edu).
Is there an option to register for specific modules?
No, the only option is to register for the entire week-long course. Although it is not required that you attend each module, you will be charged for the cost of the entire course regardless of the number of modules you attend.
Are there any prerequisite courses or training?
This is an introductory course, no previous experience or knowledge of computational genomics is required. We do ask that you view tutorials for the software we will be using in the course.
Do I need to know how to code?
You do not need to know how to code. Most software used in the class has a user-friendly interface. We do ask that you view tutorials for the software we will be using in the course.
