The Savvy Researcher’s Spring Series has Started

During the Spring and Fall Semesters the library hosts a series of free workshops called The Savvy Researcher. These workshops are taught by a large team of experts at the library and cover a broad range of topics relevant to academics and researchers. While the Savvy Researcher focuses on topics related to research, it’s not just about using the library. The series covers skills, tools, and software products that make your research time more productive (e.g. with citation managers and data sets), advance your academic career (by finding where you’ve been cited and locating grants), and present your research effectively and aesthetically (by improving Powerpoint and Prezi skills and legally using images that you don’t own).

You can view the full Spring Savvy Researcher calendar here, and get updates on upcoming  workshops by following ScholCommons on Twitter.
