Winn Wasson

Winn Wasson is a second-year Master’s student in Library and Information Science. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago. Winn is studying Hindi in preparation for a career as a South Asia Area Studies subject specialist librarian. His past research on India has focused on Hindu nationalism, education, and demographics and has utilized statistics published by the Census of India and other Indian government agencies, as well as from NGOs. His Master’s thesis explored the implications of lopsided sex ratios in India for female marriage-related migration.
