Seminar Description

Flipping (or Blending) is a means to add new engagement, interaction, and collaboration opportunities to your classroom experience. The results can lead to heightened student achievement, satisfaction, and retention. Explore how College of Business faculty have added flipped/blended approaches and begin brainstorming how you might add these approaches to your own classroom.

By attending this seminar, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Various flipped/blended classroom styles, approaches to content, organizations, and features
  • Various types of media that can be used in flipped / blended classrooms such as videos, simulations, and interactive media
  • Course activities for face-to-face and online environment that challenge and engage graduate and undergraduate students
  • And a detailed understanding of each phase of the course creation process, how to adequately prepare, what types of information to gather and key questions to ask to ensure you are reaching the highest level of quality possible.
