This workshop will help you:

1. Identify active learning strategies that are a good match for their teaching;
2. Understand how to implement the compass tools for active learning;
3. Practice by creating them in a compass course;
4. Create assessment
5. Evaluate and analyze their effectiveness for learning.

At the end of the workshop, you will have developed at least two active learning exercises that could be applied to your course immediately.
