The next scheduled maintenance for Publish.Illinois.edu will take place on January 21, 2026 from 10pm~3am. During this maintenance cycle, The Publish.Illinois.edu service will be undergoing service improvements. We will be updating to the latest version of WordPress (v6.9). We will be updating the University of Illinois theme to version 3.0.3, read more about v3.0.3 of the University of Illinois theme here: https://wordpress.webtheme.illinois.edu/2025/11/25/v3-0-3/. We will also be deprecating plugins that are no longer in use or supported. Supported plugins will be updated.
We recommend that you test the changes on your site(s) in our Publish test environment before 01/21/26! – The Test-Publish environment has been updated to include the changes that are set to occur on 01/21/26. You can preview these changes, as they will appear in Production-Publish, now by visiting Test.Publish.Illinois.edu (VPN connection required). Note: the Test-Publish environment was synced with data from 12/10/25.
