Udall Scholarship Info Sessions

Calling all environmentalists! Calling students interested in Native American tribal affairs! Udall Scholarship 2-day info event this week,  November 9 & 10!

The Udall Scholarship awards $7,000 to sophomores or juniors committed to a career related to the environment *OR* to Native American sophomores or juniors interested in tribal policy or health care. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or U.S. permanent residents.

A successful applicant will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate leadership and a commitment to service.  We are looking to nominate students who are taking action to address environmental concerns or concerns related to Native American tribal affairs.  The University of Illinois may nominate up to six candidates for the award; if you are considering applying, join our information event:

**Two-Day Udall Information Event**

  • Thursday, November 9, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.—Information session & discussion with former Udall Scholar – Illini Union Bookstore Building, Rm 514 (north side)
  • Friday, November 10, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.—Workshop on how to craft a competitive Udall application – Illini Union Bookstore Building,  Rm 514 (north side).

The campus deadline is 12pm noon, February 7, 2018.
