On January 9, 2014, Learn@Illinois underwent a small upgrade to Moodle 2.4.7. The upgrade included security fixes, bug fixes, and a number of enhancements to functionality. Improvements include:
Enhanced Functionality
Moving to Moodle 2.4.7
- Moodle 2.4.7 Release Notes. See the 2.4.6 Release Notes.

The “UI FastGrader”
- ATLAS-developed grader report to manage large classes. This new gradebook view reduces lag and provides better display!
Better options for grade book exports
- Plain text export options will be combined into one plain text export with different settings, depending on a user’s export needs.
Improved navigation
- Better navigation from the student view.
New option grade calculation
- Adding a new grading method that allows instructors to map their grading scale to the standard 90,80,70 grading scale.
Mass action block installed
- Allows instructors to perform actions upon multiple resources or activities, rather than having to perform repeated actions on individual items.
Warning before timeout
- Users will be warned before their Moodle login session ends.

The following modules are being updated to a new, improved version!
- Attendance
- Collaborate
- Dates
- Group Choice

Lessons bug fixed
- Setting course “Show gradebook to students” to “no” will no longer prevent display of final Lesson page.
