The Drill Team is an organization built on precision and excellence. It is comprised of some of the best cadets in the detachment. After joining the Drill Team, cadets are trained in drill and ceremonies with arms. They will learn all aspects of drill and ceremonies, customs and courtesies, and military professionalism. Members perform difficult silent drill routines with nine-pound rifles, a feat which requires practice, teamwork, and incredible precision.

What training recruits receive in a three-month candidacy process is difficult, but molds them into capable and confident cadets, setting them apart from their peers. The Team performs in the community, and at the Southern California Invitational Drill Meet every February.
