NCOIC, Administration
Staff Sergeant Monnet Kennedy is the NCOIC of Administration at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 190 at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. SSgt Kennedy is responsible in assisting cadets through their lifecycle from application to commissioning. Her duties included maintaining cadet-related records, coordinating tuition payments, and processing subsistence/travel payments.
SSgt Kennedy enlisted into the Air Force in December 2015 completing Basic Military Training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. Her first duty station was also JBSA Lackland where she worked as an Executive Administrator at 16th Air Force/Air Forces Cyber Headquarters. Her duties included assisting the Chief of Staff with executive duties and sending all taskings from Headquarters Air Force to all Cyber Headquarters Directorates and Wings. SSgt Kennedy was then assigned to 616th Cyber Operations Center where she worked in the Commanders Support Staff (CSS). CSS members directly support Commanders by managing their programs and providing human resource services to all members of the unit. She has also worked Executive Administration at Hurlburt Field, Florida at Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and CSS positions at 1st Special operations Logistic Readiness Squadron and the Air Commando Development Center
